Veterinary practice Vets for Pets is a warm, trusted, and primarily first-line practice with over 35 years of experience in veterinary medicine. With great care, commitment, and strong medical expertise, we build a close and lasting relationship with our clients every day. Our three practices in Nieuwpoort, Westende, and Koksijde are located right by the sea, allowing you to work year-round in an environment with a real holiday feel.

You'll join a positive, open, and collegial team atmosphere, where working together comes naturally and where you can always turn to colleagues with your questions. The practice is led by two highly experienced veterinarians who have already guided and trained many (starting) veterinarians with great patience and dedication. Due to expansion, renewal, and new investments, we are looking for veterinarians who want to grow and build the future of the practice together with us.

• After a short training period, you will independently carry out first-line consultations. Examinations and surgical procedures are always carried out as a team, with room for consultation and support.
• After a settling-in period, you will take part in the on-call duty, which consists of one evening per week and about five weekends per year.
• You will work closely with the assistants, who support you during consultations, surgeries, and the follow-up of hospitalized animals.
• You can always count on your colleagues for consultation, second opinions, or further referral within the practice.

• You hold a Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine. Prior work experience is a plus, but definitely not a requirement.
• You are motivated to further expand your knowledge and learn something new in practice every day.
• You remain calm and flexible in a dynamic work environment and enjoy working as part of a team.
• You are willing to travel, if necessary, between our three locations in Nieuwpoort, Westende, and Koksijde.
• Are you interested in specializing in a specific discipline, such as internal medicine? That's definitely possible – we're happy to support you in that.
• Do you have longer-term ambitions toward practice leadership or shareholding? That's also negotiable.
